Do you know Zoho Campaigns A/B campaigns? They are very useful to achieve a higher open rate and an increase in the click-through rate of your newsletters.

Here's a tip to help you optimize this type of campaign:

A little time before reaching a conclusion

Don't expect immediate results. Run the tests for a while to know the real impact of your emails.

Allow enough time after sending newsletter A and B for recipients to receive, open and view the newsletter for the results to be reliable.

Keep in mind that if the 5% sample of your audience that is chosen to send test newsletters are from different time zones, they may open your message at different times, so it is better to wait before sending the final one.

How long do I have to wait?

The length of the test depends largely on three factors: the sample size of your audience, the day of the week and the time of day you send it.

For example, if you are running a campaign targeting 5,000 contacts and you vary the default sample test size to 10%, running a full day's test can give you pretty good results.

Also, if you send your email in the first three days of the week, running the test for 24 hours is ideal. When it's a Friday or weekend, wait three days to get meaningful results.

Quick tips:

Choose the timing of the mailing based on the recipient's location, as this can greatly influence the open rate and click-through rate.
