Google Workspace security has always been excellent and now it's even simpler.

Google is creating a new main rules page in the administrator console.

It will be available to all Google Workspace customers.

What will change?

• Rules and security rule pages will be consolidated to facilitate rule discovery and management.
• A new Rule Templates page will be added for Enterprise Standard and Enterprise Plus customers. It will have customizable pre-designed templates to easily configure rules for common use cases. This includes scenarios such as preventing the sharing of sensitive personal, financial or health information.
• One-click analysis of activity rules and data protection will be enabled. Incorporating the integration of investigation tools from the list view. For Enterprise Plus customers.

What are the benefits?

• With centralized information, administrators can easily decide which rules to implement or maintain.
• Investigate faster with the new research tool.
• Find information on the benefits of enabling rules with use case-based guidance for managing alerts and email notifications for rules provided by Google.
