The solution to generate leads

Web forms are the most common tool used by organizations for lead generation. When the lead submits the form, their information is captured by the CRM. It is then taken by sales reps for subsequent follow-up and development processes.

Most of the time, companies have different websites that help them to focus on a wider audience and generate more leads. They can be generated by campaigns, products, launches and different actions.

Analysis of the form What to consider? Why?

The process should not end there. It is important to analyze the performance of each web form to understand if they serve the intended purpose. There are different parameters that can help determine performance:

  • Number of visits to web forms
  • Number of presentations
  • Percentage of fields normally filled in the form
  • If potential customers have agreements associated with them.

Clear benefits

Web form analysis allows you to identify how well visitors interact with your web forms and what causes them to abandon them. Let's see it with an example:
Zona Inc is a company that offers product training to its customers in all regions. Therefore, they decided to capture their leads' information from a web form on the company's website. Months later, they noticed that the number of form submissions had decreased and they had fewer customers from and also, they have fewer customers from some of the regions where the company is located.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Taking matters into their own hands They decided to analyze the performance of the forms and observed the following:
  1. Most of the fields such as Date of birth, correspondence address, website and company name were not completed. Only the simple and personal fields were filled in.
  2. Most of the forms were sent from Argentina, Peru, Chile and Brazil.
  3. The lowest number of forms submitted was from Canada, Norway and Spain.
These vital statistics can help improve the form and increase its effectiveness. Not only do they tell us that the form may be getting too long for the acceleration of the times we live in, but also that it is more noticeable in certain countries.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What does it allow us to do? Modify the form as many times as necessary to make it simple and relevant.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In addition, the company could focus on marketing actions for the countries where the shipment decreased, proposing a relevant incentive to complete the form (Ebook, webinar, among others).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is the proof of the power that their analysis gives us.

A simple way to analyze them: dashboards.

In Zoho CRM you can get the information very easily.

  • You must go to Configuration > Developer Area > Web forms
  • Click on More statistics ...

There, you will have different sections to analyze.

General form analysis allows you to understand form behavior and compare web forms in a module to identify the most successful one.

Continuing with the example, the following dashboard would allow Zona Inc to know quickly and visually which countries should encourage the submission of the form.

On the other hand, they could also know if the leads that come from the countries with the highest number of forms sent, effectively become sales and are profitable for the company with the following dashboard.
