[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Collaborating always increases productivity and communication in the team. That's why Google brings updates that encourage internal collaboration. These updates can be used by both users and developers. (If you are a developer, the second part of this note is designed for you and will be published in the coming days).

Updates

Email draft template in Google Docs

Have you ever had to send an important email and have to compose it as a team? Be in a Meet collaborating and then send the email without being able to see it? With the new draft email template available in Documents, you'll find it easier to do just that.

Why? By inserting it, you will be able to collaborate in the body of the message through comments and suggestions. In addition, you can mention people in the recipient fields without having to remember their e-mail addresses.

When the message is ready to send, just click on the button displayed next to the email draft. A Gmail compose window will open and the contents of the email fields (Subject, To, Cc, Cco and body) will be automatically transcribed from the draft written in the document.

To insert an e-mail template, go to Insert > Basic components > E-mail draft.

More interactive hybrid meetings

Working in a hybrid model, meetings often include both face-to-face and remote attendees, so a unified and productive experience for all is essential. That's why Google continues to make improvements. Which ones?

Being able to see and hear each other during hybrid collaboration is essential but, in the virtual world, presenters are often unable to see their audience and their reactions.

To help presenters and multitaskers see their audience while navigating through different tabs and windows, video conference thumbnails will be incorporated into Chrome browsers. Next month, you'll be able to see up to four video tiles of meeting attendees in a floating window on top of other apps as you share content.

Also, over the next month, in-meeting feedback will allow attendees to express themselves visually with emojis (👍 ❤️ 😆 ), providing immediate feedback to speakers.

Improvements in the live streaming experience

This will help organizations deepen their engagement with audiences.

Livestream attendees will be able to participate in Q&A and polls, matching the experience enjoyed by Meet attendees. matching the experience enjoyed by Meet attendees.

Users have also requested the ability to reach a wider audience by live streaming through other platforms. Later this year, an integration with YouTube will be implemented to achieve this. It will be possible to broadcast the meeting on this platform.

Improvements in internal collaboration processes: Google Chat

One of the main requests from business users is to have threads in online conversations. Google is improving its Spaceswith the ability to respond to specific comments and carry on parallel conversations while maintaining an organized dialogue in the main room.
