Workspace plans now include the best of Google AI
Google made access to artificial intelligence easier by making Gemini functionality available in Google Workspace licensing. Seeking to enable more businesses to leverage AI to improve their creativity, productivity and security.

Update:
- Starting January 15, gradually until March 17.
Availability:
- All Google Workspace customers, individual Workspace subscribers and users with personal Google accounts.

NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus are added as core Google Workspace services!
If you are looking to analyze information and generate knowledge with AI, NotebookLM is a research assistant designed to help users. Upload the content you need (audios, pdfs, documents, videos) and start asking questions - Notebook LM will be an expert on the subject!
Now, as a core Google Workspace service, it offers greater integration, security and support for all businesses.

- Gradual implementation as of February 5, 2025.
Availability:
- NotebookLM is available as a core service for Google Workspace in the Business Starter, Essentials and Nonprofits editions.
- NotebookLM Plus is available as a core service for Google Workspace in the Business Standard and Plus, and Enterprise Standard and Plus editions.

Gmail data classification labels arrived on iOS and Android
With data classification labels you will be able to classify and protect sensitive information in emails. Until now, this feature was only available in the web version of Gmail, but now it is also available in the Android and iOS mobile apps.

Update:
- On Android already available. On iOS gradual implementation from February 11, 2025.
Availability:
- Available for Google Workspace Business Standard and above, individual Workspace subscribers and users with personal Google accounts.
Name your group direct messages in Google Chat
By clicking on the direct message groups, you will find the "Name this chat" section where you will be able to assign custom names, making it easier to identify and search for conversations within Google Chat.

Update:
- On the Web phased implementation starting February 28, for Android phased implementation starting February 27 and for iOS phased implementation starting March 4.

- Available to all Google Workspace customers, individual Workspace subscribers and users with personal Google accounts.
Insert Gemini replies directly into Gmail drafts
Gemini now allows AI-generated responses to be automatically inserted into Gmail drafts. This helps users compose emails faster and more accurately.
